nice study. It's nice to see I'm not the only one painting little "studies". The biggest problem I see is your perspective, more specifically your ellipses. The should all have the same curvature. If you make the top, top ridge, bottom ridge, and bottom all the same degree ellipse you'll notice a marked difference. Hope this helps...

Hello Kuzya,

Nice work on getting the colors down. However, you should perhaps put a bit more work into getting some important details like the logos and lettering straight (vertically in this case) and sharp or following the curvature of the can from this angle.

Get-up-Kid's comments about the ellipses are half right (sorry Get-Up!=). They are indeed a bit misformed in this image, but making the same ellipse shape for the top and bottom would make an isometric representation of the can, not a real perspective one. In this image for example, the top ellipse would be narrower than the bottom one, as the vanishing point (perpendicular to the axis along the cylinder) would point somewhere off the image on the top -- actually, drawing a simple cylinder as a primitive shape would make this clearer.

Keep up the studying and good work.

Well I'll be damned if that ain't Pepsi blue to a T.

I have nothing to say that has not already been said, so I'll use my time here to sing godawful renditions of Oh Danny Boy. What's that? "Shut the fuck up?"

I thought so.

Really, I truly appreciate the detail, and if I drank soda, well hell if I wouldn't rush out and get me some Pepsi Cola!

Jess
