Hehe, sorry, I just get a kick out of all these "Everyone and the great Photoshop god Dhabih look at this!" headers.
Anyways, the reason for this post is...
Feedback on my self portrait. I don't want "dude, that sucks" or "dude, that's freakin' l33t!" so if you're planning on saying just that, please refrain. I just want to know if there's anything odd looking about it (other than the eye and ear not being finished).
Thanks.

Dude, that's frickin' l33t!
Just kiddin -- Honestly though, I think it is a superb painting. Proportions seem to be right on, and lighting is great. Are you going to leave it in grayscale, or convert it to colour (I'm Canadian) later on?
Again, great work!

I'll be coloring it eventually, similarly to my images of dianna
B&W Dianna
Colored Dianna
I'll probably work a little more on the skin tone and color on mine then on hers since I'd originally worked from a photobooth image in which her face was nearly white (she's VERY light skinned). I added skin tone to my drawing of her so she didn't look quite as evil as she is.

Kick ass painting
But.. Uum.. there's something about the upper lip, something with the light that doesn't look right..
..or it could be just me.. I'm really lacking sleep..

Hey, that, awesome!
Work on 3d-ing the eye a little more, it looks flat. It's also blurry, sharpen the edges a little.
Overal awesome painting. 9 out of 10. |

I agree with wakestar. To me it looks like the light is coming from two different angles on the lower part of the head it looks like its from behind and the upper part looks like the light is a little to the right of the face. |

Please, be gentle, and tell me you used a photograph. "Just for reference" is accepted.
(although that is indeed a question expecting to be answered, it intends to be a compliment too)
What MAIN tools you used? (tools inside the program you used)
Overly jealous,

Geez, I almost thought someone was posting in my name for a momment there...
Jorge: Yes, used a photo reference. My experience with self portrait profile drawings are that they REALLY SUCK to do with mirrors. I've never been able to get a good likeness, and I wanted some sort of digital project to work on, so I snapped a picture of myself and started drawing.
Mr. bang: As for the smooth look to the image, that's due to the style I use to make many of my images. Note the old one is in black and white. They way I work is I place a little white down and smudge to hell... a sort of reverse charcoal if you will. (Charcoal is my current favorite media at the momment... next to graphite pencils... both of which I use in near identical fashions (draw lines, smudge smudge smudge).
I really need to get back in to doing art stuff... school starts up again soon which should help, but my work takes up most of my time and what little digital art I've done for that I can't show off here. =/
