Nice. If you want to give it a better metal texture, keep in mind that rust is not reflective and should therefore have no highlight on those areas. Adding some pitting or some brushed look on it might also help. Again, nice. =) |

That looks awesome. But I think it should be used as an enter screen rather than the loading screen. For me, the loading screen only stayed there for about a second before the content window loaded on top of it, so people won't get to see that awesome pic for very long. Just a thought. |

I think its very clear that its metal, but Frost is right, rust shouldnt be metallic, I also think its a tiny bit too yellow in some parts. Your page looks (and sounds) excellent, but unfortunatly I have a big to report, when I clicked on the links to go to "me" or whatever I got me a JS alert, you prolly know about that. Also I had to hit refresh to get the 'paper-holders' to appear, maybe my side just timed out too quick or something, but it happened in most of the sections. Over all good job

Yeah, add some metallic texture on it like Frost said and i would work more on the face,
like the nose. |

because of the material properties, plastic tends to have highlights that are the color of the lightsource,
whereas specular highlights on metal surfaces are the color of the metal itself.
adding texture to the highlights is definitely more important here, but this is just another thing to keep in mind ;)
