I have four. and a question too.. I didnt want to start another thread for it.. SO:
I have Wacom Intuos A4 sized boy, with pen and the fab. 4D-mousie... Is there a way to disable the daaaaamn acceleration of the mouse... (short explanation: I want the mouse to move the same range, wether I move the mouse faster or slower...). In the wacom control software there is only a way to change the speed of the acceleration, but it still stinks with the lowest acceleration setting.
Help me please
Mebbe we should ad a third forum for tablets/hardware/software ... just a thought.

I didn't want to start another thread either, so here's my question. Some time ago, someone had the exact same problem, but I couldn't get anything out of it...
When drawing in Photoshop, in screen mode 2 or 3, I want to draw something in the corners of the screen. (I believe it's only in the right corner and bottom) This is where these problems appear. When moving the cursor about 1 cm from the corner of the screen, it kinda snaps towards the very end of the screen, though i've got about 1-2 cm left of my tablet, creating a straight line. This is very annoying. I believe Loki told the other guy to "fiddle" around with the screen settings, but I've tried that without any result. Does anybody know what's wrong and how to get rid of it? I use maximum values on both screen and tablet, but it doesn't work. Help anybody? Loki? =)
And another thing I thought about last night. It's thanks to Wacom we are in this forum, and that we're so good at what we are doing. So don't you think we should send a big "thank you" to wacom? =)

Thank Wacom ?? they charge 300 upwards to 2000 for their tablets, its the buyers of these tablets thats been keeping them in business, they should thank us by lowering the prices.

See, when threads like these don't have replys by either spooge, francis, fred, loki, micke, joachim, danny, sfr, vebjorn or frost, it means that it's not worth reading or paying attention to.
It's fun to bring up some beef.

hmmmm...I still don't really understand, but I'm going to clock it up as some sort of reflex traumu response to the sight of another tablet thread. I know some our longtime forum members have been deeply affected in that way, and need gentle handling.

As long as people are asking questions about tablets in this thread, I'll go ahead and tack one on:
Is there any difference at all between the regular and Special Edition Intuos's other than the SE's look a bit nicer?
Thanks for any help,

iska, if you select pen mode when you are changing the properties of the mouse settings on your tablet, there will be no acceleration. maybe there is another way still keeping it in mouse mode, but i did it that way.
