why do people think bush is better than gore?
state some reasons please

for example:

i like my right hand better than my left
reason: my right hand is more adept at
wacking off

its easy just to make a statement, you should at least try making it a valid statement by giving us something to back it up with

Tell me if I'm wrong Maruman but in Australia aren't you fined if you don't vote? Like 250 bucks? If that is true how is that inforced, an other words do you have to sign your ballets for them to keep track?

BTW, Bush won the Hand vote by 350 some again. Man you would think after winning THREE! times we would have our president. Those absentee ballets better not phuck up Bush's victory

FaithInChaos: I have already stated my reasoning in this post... http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000647.html

And I am left handed, cause left handers rock! hehe

They won't, Chris. The absentee ballots that need to be counted are from overseas military men. And, who many guys in the army do you know that are liberal? None? Me either.

We had a fake election in our school for all History classes. Drunk american crackheads all voted for Browne after discovering his plans on legalizing all kinds of narcotics. I think i was the only smart one who voted for a communist party.

I hate hipocrisy over all else.
Thus, no fucking way I would vote for Bush.
He says: "Abortion should be illegalized because life is sacred! But capital punishment is good!"
Anyone else see a contradiction. Plus the republicans are in bed with the NRA, which is one of the truly, truly unsettling entities in the world.
But hey, fuck it, I'm can't vote for either. I just hope that if Bush wins, someone will educate him to the fact that Finland is NOT a part of Russia for when he decides to nuke his "enemies".

really dumb things Bush jr. has said:

"They want the federal government controlling Social Security like it's some kind of federal program."

"It's one thing about insurance, that's a Washington term."

"They have miscalculated me as a leader."

"Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness."

"The fact that he relies on factssays things that are not factualare going to undermine his campaign."

"I understand small business growth. I was one."

"The most important job is not to be governor, or first lady in my case."

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

"It was just inebriating what Midland was all about then."

First off I'm 16 and can't vote, and I believe Nader is the only way to go in 2004 I'll sure be voting for him. Is it that hard to see that neither of these guys are what they make themselves out to be. They are corporate puppets. Nader was the only true candidate who has done so much for the safety and the people of this country. What have Bush and Gore done invented the internet? Kill hundreds men/women without appeal courts, even though many of the cases have HAD reasonable doubt. Man I find it sad that people still pick the same 2 parties for the past 150 years, don't tell me cause it's the way we want it. Half the people don't vote. If you haven't already gone to votenader.org to check out his issues then you truly can't say anything wrong about the guy. And you know he would follow through with them because he has no special interest. I like what Jon Stewart said in response about getting young people involved in politics "Who's inspiring them to get involved, if anybody has a decent bullshit detector it's kids, and they can see that politics is all a bad theatre." Well maybe we want the bullshit. That's my rant....

Brue: Gore stated in a conference once that he invented the internet. I was joking about him being a great person. I voted Bush. The lesser of the 3 evils. Besides with Bush I get more of my income back.

If Gore hadn't evented the internet we wouldn't be able to have this discussion.

Get Bush in 2000! That's my motto.

there are just as many bush-isms as there are gore-isms. at least al gore is able to realise he said something completely stupid and make fun of himself for it. bush on the other hand doesnt have a clue.

nader has some good ideas but hes far too extreme to ever win an election. i would have wished that nader could have took part in the debates, but other than that hes just another nut with some radical ideas.

i dont like bush, gore, or nader but i fail to understand how bush is the lesser of these three evils; please explain...

you might get more of your income back with bush; but your kids will learn less in (public) school and the economy will suffer. plus bush has a history of only wanting to "give back" to the upper class. all you lower class bush supporters or going to be supprised big time when your check comes back with the same if not a less than normal amount of money.

So hmm.. why do you all care, especially when votes are SO close? America has some of the most messt up voting system in the world! You can't predict what whose 13 white men are gonna decide on. Since that's what the final choice depends on, doesn't matter how the rest of American people voted.

Reasons to vote for Bush:

1) Protect our liberties and freedoms
2) Preserve our right to bear arms
3) Reduce the role of the federal government
4) Reduce burdensome taxes (captital gains, income, death tax, marriage penalty tax)
5) Reestablish our military strength
6) Provide school vouchers for everyone
7) End racist programs such as affirmative action
8) Develop productive relationships with foreign nations
9) Remove our military from "world policing missions"
10) Transfer more power back to the states where they belong

If you want the government to think for you and become ever more intrusive into your everyday life, cheer for Gore to win. He has promised to create a government program for every person, place, and thing in the United States. He will finance the needless programs and legislation on the backs of the middle class. Gore would love to turn our country into an island of socialism.

bah. those are reasons for voting republican mixed in with vauge ideals that can be applied to both parties...i want to know how bush is less evil than gore or nader.

"if you want the governemnt to think for you and become more intrusive into your everyday life, cheer for Gore to win."

if you want the governemnt to think for you and become more intrusive into your everyday life, cheer for Bush to win. By enforcing the morals of the christian religion in schools, in public, and in private life.

i would give more thought to what you have written except that image you posted comes from a spoof site intended to make fun of democrates or any liberal minded people...its not what i call a valid source.

if you agree with half of what site and its links promote, i get the feeling that:
a)you think homosexuality is wrong and/or homosexuals do not deserve equal treatment
b)the christan "God" should be the head of state and his laws should be enforced
c)abortion should be banned
d)everyone should be able to carry a gun
e)election reform should be done away with
f)evolution is not a valid theory and the christian creation myth should be taught in elementary science classes
and
g)white men are being oppressed in todays society
