Here, my Assembly2k 24bit competition picture, got 7th place. And it got really something to say. It is inspired by Rage against the machine, public enemy, Bob Marley and last but not least, the new media crap that is going on here in Finland. This pic says "fuck you" to that kind of business.
Oh yeah, and it's name is "Babylon System".

And here is another picture, 'Dready', from the Assembly2k oldskool graphics compo, which means that there was a limitation of colors and resolution. 320x256 with 32 colors was the limit. This pic is 320x240 32colors.
This one has really nothing to say
It came 4th in the competition, which was very unfair, becos there was this one piece of total shit in the 2nd or 3rd place which had just a funny name and nothing more. I would really like to shoot everyone in the head who voted for that one. Well, life is unfair.. sigh..

Partikle, nice job - I think I'll join you in a "fuck you" against nu media crap and the hive-minded self-indulgent stupidity running it. (Not that everyone involved with new media is an asshole, but...)

Well, the pixelling technique on your oldskool pic could be more advanced, but on the whole I do think you would have deserved that 3rd place. I think the organizers are also to blame, for showing the pictures so damn tiny on a 800*600 PC screen or something

What was this, a "How Much America Sucks" competition?

Awesome pics, by the way...

klaivu, yeah. The bigscreen became a smallscreen actually They should have scaled the pics to a fullscreen size first.

tinusch, well no. It wasn't . It was just a compo where you could paint anything (except too sick or copyrighted pics). So this was my idea for an idealess competition

Partikle:
I agree with your complaint. That 'Jarno haluaa pallon'-picture was just pure crap.
My 'Wild West' came sixth, only 200-300 points from the third place. The compo pics were totally blurred on the screen, and for detailed pics that was a disadvantage. My
'Fairy tale' came 16th in graphics compo.

Bg, your "Fairy Tale" certainly looks a lot better on a monitor than it did on the big screen... (however, Visualice's pic looked better on the screen - hmm)

Anyway, yours was nice, but voters always go for the ultracheesy stuff. (No offense meant to Danny who always won compos, that's different you know )
