Curious as to what music people are listening to.

Hmm. Hitting shuffle on Winamp 5 times produces:

1. Some kick ass Stevie Ray Vaughn instrumental.

2.Muddy Waters- Hoochie Koochie Man

3.Acoustic Alchemy - Different Kind of Freedom

4.The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

5.Sly and The Family Stone- It's a Family Affair

I'm glad it didn't come up with something embarrassing..

Winamp randomizer method(TM) produced these results:
1.)Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Brompton Oratory (Live in Paris)
2.)Lauryn Hill - Killing Me Softly
3.)Barry Adamson - Mr.Eddy's Theme 2
4.)Beck - Steal My Body Home
5.)Marilyn Manson - Antichrist Superstar

Doesn't define my music taste, but does give an fascinating (if you're really, really in to this stuff I suppose) glimpse of what kind of music I listen to in general. All of these songs are actually enjoyable, unlike some of the stuff I have on my playlist, just for laughs.

My taste is different.

My favourite group for now is Nightwish - http://www.nightwish.com

But I'm also listening dark ambient, acid-jazz, rave, trance and other different kinds of music for clubs and narcotic trips like - Coil, Download, Autechre, Legendary Pink Dots, Nightmares On Wax, Art Of Noise, Xymox, Orbital, Orb, United Future Organisation, Jazzanova and many many others like Carl Cox, Way Out West, Prodigy ...

I have a lot of CDs and my winamp playlist contains now 2000+ compositions and growing.

Hmmm . . let me do the Winamp thing.

Springbok Nude Girls - Giant Love Affair
FatBoy Slim - Star 69
Kid Loco - Love Me Sweet
Reminiscence Quartet - Jazz Thing
U.N.K.L.E - Celestial Annihilation
Massive Attack - Dissolved Girl
Rhazel - If Your Mother Only Knew
The Prodigy - 3 Kilos

8, just to be different.

Plus a whole bunch of other stuff I wouldn't have the patience to type out. The winamp thing is more fun to see anyway.

Hmmmm. Doesn't look like there's a whole lot of Hip-Hop listeners here =P Well, I listen to mostly eastcoast "underground" hip-hop. Though it's really not that underground, I listen to mostly Rawkus, and Okayplayer stuff (Common, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, etc.) I like to call it "The Mainstream Underground"....If you're into underground hip-hop you'll get that. Anyways...
EDIT: Oh, yeah. And I like to listen to video game and anime soundtracks too ^_^ Also a few random things too, I like the Beatles, and Moby...*trails off*
