looks cool, I think without works it would be better..
If you want that straight lines in there you could make it look like a heads up display or something.. or get rid of them too in favour of a more floating lineflow. |

Very nice indeed
I still like that "diagramatic lines and labels" style even though it is really over used. Proof that some good stuff can come of it |

A new wallpaper that I am making for a friend. Please give me any critique as to what I should change. Consider this the editing process for my picture. I have been staring at this bitch for too long and you know what happens after that. Everything starts looking like crap and I end up starting over. Any ideas, comments, critique are welcome. If anyone would want to use the wallpaper just email me with your rez and I will send you a copy.

The version above is 800.600. If anyone would want to see it in higher rez click here for a 1024.768 version. The original I worked on was 1600.1200. |

I love it. I think it would be way better if it didn't have text on it, though. I don't know why people always use words on their wallpapers when it makes no sense... But I'd love it without text. Awesome job on the design. |

should I get rid of the "komatose" or just the small words attached to the lines.

I REALLY do like this . There seem to be so many backgrounds/screensavers etc. in this vein . threeoh etc. and I love the fact that yours is very curvy and not all angular/geometric like most of the rest that I have seen.
Have to agree that the text can get a bit much ( the big Komatose ) . how do different fonts make it feel ?
I dont know if you have checked out the www.k10k.com background gallery , you could submit this .

Thanks for the feedback. I am working on a better version of the picture and I will post it up when I am done. I made the image using mostly adobe photoshop 5.0 and some Rhino. I made the curvy lines by drawing 3 or 4 lines on a slant; then I used shear (filter>distort>shear)and screwed with the control points. I still have to make minor tweaking with the pic, mainly because of the poor line quality that all look broken up. I think this is because of the rez I was working on. I made this listening to heavy trance and techno, if anyone else is into that kind of music I recomend trying out radiospy.
Launch winamp>In the playlist where it says "add" hold it down until you see "add url">click add url and type in this IP "http://207.199.1.25:8400" and then click play.
This will only work with high bandwith modems(cable, T1, DSL, etc.) You can find more stations at radiospy.com
Damn I sound like a radiospy commercial but I had to share. Finally! A good techno radiostation!
