Thank you for posting this. I might have seen it before, but I really was impacted by it when I saw it in the lecture. This peice is beautiful. Quick and thorough. Thanks again...

Was Watkiss inspiring or what, I still haven't come down from my awakening yet. Hope I don't for a while...

very cool. I love how you use really big brushes and it comes out looking great. It makes me wanna eat four 3.25 floopy disks placed in a microwavable bowl, cooked in the microwave on high for 8 minutes. stir, let it sit for 5 minutes, then serve.

I can't remember the exact title, but I remember seeing a Sargent painting like this, it was one of his obscure studies that people dont get to see. I think it was the one where he did studies of his friends in a hay loft maybe??? My memory is failing me
I always like the transition in your image, and the way the lights seems to bounce around in tiny areas, very nice, I wouldn't finish it for the world.

Who'd have predicted it? Spooge turns out a great painting. Everyone?

I remember seeing this on your site and drooling over it.

**humorous side note: the unfinished part at the bottom makes it look like she's standing in lava.
