this is a good tutorial http://susanooh.anime.net/Art/Class/03/index.html
it has nice ways of drawing hands that dont require you to do wierd abstract shapes. Its kind of short but its all you really need from the way its designed. |

The addresses of sites are necessary to me, on which train to work in Photoshop with reference to drawing.
On that site, that you have given me give lessons of simple drawing without a deepening in the technical party of a question.
If you know a site, which in your opinion, is necessary, give it URL |

Well, not only is he making no sense, but he's contradicting himself. Either he wanted tutorials on drawing hands, which we gave him, or he wants tutorials on how to draw by hand. But drawing by hand is different than drawing in Photoshop.
What the hell do you want, boy? |

He wants tutorials on starting out in Photoshop 5.5. He never said anything about needing tutorials on hands, he said 'beforehand thank' which I take as meaning 'Thanks in advance.' I could be wrong though, that's what I got out of it at least. We need a decryption program to talk to this guy

Thank you, Thorn. Your links are really GREAT!
I was send my works at Sankt-Petersburg (Russia) to ChaosConstruction'2000 demo party.
I hope to occupy any prize-winning place...

Good luck, Tiger. I hope you do really well with your work.
PS. Typhon and sh4de, I'm trying to learn on my PS own too, and boy is it tricky. Anyway, glad that the links have helped.

sh4de, I just bought the Photoshop WOW book and its starting to really help. I'd recommend it. PS does a whole bunch of things which aren't obvious at first, and not knowing them means you can easily work yourself into a corner. Which is what I keep doing, by the way. Plus the stuff in the book goes well beyond what you'll find in most of the tuts on the net. Lets face it, anyone that hangs out in this forum is usually interested in finding out a bit more than just how to do bevelled edges and chrome effects.
Anyway, check out PS WOW, see what you think.
PS. There's a CD that comes with the book, too. The example stuff is layered so you can look at their settings and channels etc. Nice. |

You can find it, sh4de, at http://www.amazon.com/ http://www.barnesandnoble.com/
The full name is "The Photoshop 5/5.5 Wow Book" by Linnea Dayton & Jack Davis, Peachpit Press (1999). There are other books on the subject, but this one seemed really thorough and easy to follow.
I'm glad I bought this book. I've found that using PS without knowing everything it can do is a bit like having a Lamborgini, but never driving it any faster than 60 km/hr.

The Wow books for Painter and Photoshop are the best. Period.
What's cool it's that they are written for artists. Even if you think you know PS inside out you have to check the Wow book!

I think that you'd be better off getting the PS WOW book and the PS Bible for whatever version your working from.
