I go to designsbymark almost everyday, but has anybody here bought his CD? I want to know if it is really worth the money. So if you have bought it, please let me know what it's like.

I haven't bought it, but I post a lot on the DBM forums, and there, most people who got it thought it wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't buy it if I were you -- but it's your money.

If you are new in photoshop it can be a good start but you can find hundred of tutorials on the net
It's a 6 Mb CDrom with brushes gradients and psd files, all the rest are 10 tuts not so advanced
Buy photoshop 5.5 WoW book, it comes with some tutorials very accurated that can teach more than doing metal pipes and plastic buttons

It is the biggest piece of garbage I've ever been stupid enough to purchase in my life. Originally, I bought to review it for a rather reputable site, but that sorta "fell through" so I was left with his crappy CD. The whole CD is like 6mb, and two of the files are not compatible with PC versions of Photoshop (nice eh?). Also, there are like 10304958589 spelling mistakes... which sorta makes for a very unprofessional feel

However, the CD jacket is nicely designed :P

I'd recommend the PS WOW book, too. I've just bought it and its packed with stuff in an artist friendly format. Plus it come with a CD so you can run through the tuts and tweak things around.
