Ahem, well... as some of you know I rarely, if ever do people pics.

Here is why.

Please, any hints or tips appreciated - other than "trim it".

spooge: this should have gone in your "cap'n nemo" thread really...

That's pretty nice. I like the way you've done the hair I see the eyes are too near eachother and the mouth looks wrong. Maybe the neck looks to thick and the way it's shaded makes it look wrong. the way the tshirt is folded on the right side gives me the illusion of the shoulder being to thin
and small, but maybe it's just me.

That's really weird cause i also did a selfportrait yesterday with a blue background. I'll post it later.

Good luck with the pic.

The portrait looks great Ceenda, I love how you've done the hair. I wouldn't mind seeing a larger version if you have it online.

The only thing that I think might let it down slightly are the eyebrows, considering how much care was obviously taken with the rest of the hair. It's mainly the direction of the hairs towards the centre of the forehead.

If you carefully inspect someone's eyebrows from that angle, they should flow something like this:

Obviously, everyones eyebrows are different, varying in shape, size, thinkness and texture. But they rarely vary in the directional pull of the individual hairs.

I hope this helps.

Keep up the great work.
