At some point I realized this image probably fits in with Fred's themed painting thread as well, although that wasn't what I was thinking of with this.

Dali? Like his work? Yes. A fan? No, not really. I think I might be able to name one of his paintings and approximately remember what a few others are like, but I'm no expert. I've never really gone out of my way to find out about him, so I've just randomply seen his work here and there. That comparison's been thrown up quite a few times recently, though. I'm not exacly sure what it's about.
And yes, I used a tablet. I have one, I'll be damnd if I don't use it. And the soft was Photoshop.

I'd say the comparisons come from you doing surreal looking landscapes with boxes, faces and other strange objects lying around.
But really I don't think there's much of a comparison (no crutches for starters). It's just that every surreal landscape reminds people of Dali I think; which doesn't do justice to your work or his.

Heikki your art is getting better every day. The first pieces you posted on the Topaz forum really didn't please me. However, these new pieces are great. Keep this style!
