Well this is just an idea but what do you all think of this ,, take a single pic , then cut the pic into 4 parts, then every week or day , show the new part of the pic , so over a 4 day period for instance you see 4 parts of the pic that make up one. and at the end of it you put them all togeather for the full pic ,, might be fun , and good learning i guess also just a thought .. tell me what you think ..

Let me say it again .. i think i was very unclear on what i was trying to say
Ok this is what i was thinking
We have have one pic, say a face of a person.
cut the face into 4 sections. then every day you post the new section for people to draw, so on day one you get section one, you draw it , day 2 section 2 you draw that , and so on. then at the end you have 4 sections all , then you place them all togeather to get the finished pic , and we all post what we came up with , in, see how it looks and so on ,, that make more sence ? hope it did , eheh |

Is this what you are trying to say -
Someone will draw a picture themselfs. Then cut it into 4 seprate sections. Then they will post the first peice. Lets say the top left corner. Then people will draw what they think would complete the drawing. And then the next day they post another corner and then you can see how close you were.. if that wasent what you were thinkog of maybe we could do that to make it a little more fun ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/wink.gif) |

I don't think that is what proximo was saying, but I think ex has a really interesting idea there. It would be great to see how some of the artists in here would complete someone's half/quarter of a pic. |

that would be cool also .. but what i was saying is take a photo ,, kind of like the one were everyone drew that old man .. and cut it into 4 sections, and then each day post the new sections, then at the end of the 4 days stick them all togeather and stuff see how it looks ,, this way you can work out one area really good and not get too over welmed with a pic and it might make some intesting pics ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

okay first of all this is retarded. i like ex's take on it though.
proximo, what the heck are you thinking. There's this thing called composition, and it won't work if you plan on having any?
maybe i read it wrong but.. oh well. eheh

So, does this mean my idea is going to get valued! :O hehe
Who wants to start?
[EDIT] Instead of cutting the final image in half or something, maybe it would be alot funner if the artist drew like... just some of the image, not completing the rest, and then have someone else fill it in and then the artist and the person completing the picture could both post theirs at the same time. And they could compaire color choises! I think that would also be a great way to learn technique and practive creativity! (just an idea)

OR! hehe, I'm sorry but i just have to say these all so i dont forget before i leave. Someone could put a sketch on here and then we could all color it and complete it... and that woulde definitly like i said before practice creativity and most definitly help everyone develope new techniques and/or ideas! I personaly like this idea better then my first. Anyone? |

What i was trying to say , and what iska
displayed with his link is what i was talking about . the compostition is already there , if you were making a new pic by yourself then you need to make your oown compostition , but seeing as the composition has already been set in the photo then there is no need to set your own composition to it , there for when you place them all togeather it should work just fine, and would be interesting to see what comes out of it . |
