Hi I was wondering if anyone has any good brush tips for painting landscapes. What Im most in need of is a good "dab" brush to add in leaves for far away trees, sort of like you would with a traditional bristle brush. I tried PS's custom tips but they make more of a sponge effect.
thanks. |

I think for this effect you're probably better of using Painter 6's Image Hose feature. What you do is paint a series of leaves in a specific order. For instance from small to large, tilted, or banked or whatever... Then you can hook up the various input levels of your Wacom tablet to control the brush. It's like using an airbrush that sprays your pre-painted images rather than little dots of ink/paint. So if you set things up smart, you could for instance use the pressure sensitivity to control the size of the leaves and use the tilt feature to spray with leaves that are viewed more side on, etc. etc.
