Hey there. Just wanted to tease some people with a render from my latest animation "HOUSTON: i am your boyfriend."

[[[WAIT. NOW THE PREVIEW IS AVAILABLE LOWER IN THIS THREAD!!! OH GOSH]]]

(click the flag images for the wallpaper (1024x768)

Well aside from that I thought the images turned out great. They almost look real eheh

Okay apollo 11 lands on the moon and suddenly a couple of the crew members get incredibly silly and strange. They let houston know they have a pom-pom (instead of a problem). They tell houston they have 5 dollars in their pocket, and take the landrover for some donuts in a crater. And MORE. yay!

These moonguys are really complex in their skeletons and stuff. What's really neat is the tube moves everywhere in coorespondence to them. (the tube runs from their butthole to the back of their head btw)

This animation is scheduled to have a 10 second preview in the middle of next month.

Amazing work Synj...
I love your work.
I got a *cough* warez *cough* copy of Lightwave 3d 5.5 and I'm trying to learn to model with it.

I am hoping to learn it and put out a few animations.

Should be awhile before I do, tho.

Oh, I was wondering if this was a z.com project or a personal recreational project. Not a real important question, just curious.

ohhh recreation as in fun. I thought you meant re-creation.

Well, everything I do is for fun. And from now on everything I do is for work, too. hehe

Just got the lunar lander completed. It needs a bit more detail but I'll post it anyway:

Synj-another great start. The only thing that looks a bit rough is the landing. Even with the extra bounce, it seems like there would be a tad give in the landing skids. The rest is great. Are you going to do a particle effect on the dirt impact? And what about when the lander hits the surface. Any particle effect there? Or are you going for stark simplicity?
Can't wait to see the rest...

n8, maybe products will be available after my press release (next month). I'll be sure to let you all know in random musings.

fred - yeah, all the FX come later. I just wanna get everything down really. hehe don't worry.. this animation is getting done FAST. how? i have no clue. I think its the fact that everything's floating so the length of it is being accomplished quicker.
