does anyone know where i can get a good (free, or inexpensive) mpeg editor? im working on my own short animated films and i need something to compile all the frames into. so anyone know of any mpeg/avi/etc editors? |

Well...
You might consider getting Adobe After Effects V4.1
It's inexpensive compared to other compositing packages, and it has most of the features you'll ever imagine using.
For MPEG compression I can recommend the LSX MPEG Encoder V3.0, this kicks booty!
The LSX encoder does mpeg2 aswell, and is multithreaded for those who have dual processor systems.

I believe you can make avi's in Photoshop 5.5(Image Ready), you construct frames then I think export it, or save-as MIGHT have the avi saving, I cant remember. |
