I've had an error with Photoshop for some time now & am wondering if anyone here could help. When I paint in full screen mode the brush drips off the edges, like it was melting or if it was blowing off the screen. Strange, but look at the sample below. See how the left shapes compare with the right? I've tried this with both 4.0 & 5.0 on two different video cards. My current theory is my crappy monitor. Don't many monitors lose dot pitch at the edge or something? Anyway, anyone experience this or have suggestions?

by dripping off the edges do you mean the brush outline(not the color) kind of "copying itself"? I get that when I scroll, little parts of the brush shape trail down when Im scrolling, its pretty annoying. Anyways, to my knowledge that is normal, it happens on both my computers (ps5.0 and 5.5) and it happens to my friends computer.

another thing Im thinking of is if the picture warping in certain areas. If its "warping" go on your desktop grab a folder and drag it around the edges of your screen, if the folder shrinks or expands(or bleeds) then its your monitor and has nothing to do with Photoshop.

If it was your monitor, you wouldn't be able to take a screen shot of it.

Is the above image saved straight from the drawn source, or did you take a screenshot of you desktop and use that?

I've never had this problem before, but then, I use Photoshop 3.0 ... must be a new bug, glad I don't use 4.0 or 5.0 (though I own all the versions).

Well, I realise if it was just the monitor it wouldn't be able to be saved. I guess I should have said some kind of hardware conflict between monitor and video card.

It's kinda what Shousetsu said, but I've experienced that too, and this is different. It's as if when I'm on the edges of the screen someone started running water on what I am making and the pixels "run" or "wash" off the edge and I have no control. It is odd.

Guys, it's the tablet-size setting. Fiddle with it in the wacom-settings window and you should be able to get rid of it.

Freddio: Good question. The answer is I didn't buy them... they came with the scanner. 4.0 came with this one in the box, but the same scanner with newer packaging was selling with 5.0 in the box, so that was mailed to us.
