thanks micke
codex: http://www.synj.net or http://synj.z.com is where more of my work can be found. but personally i like this animation better than any of my others eheh
a bit more info on this animation just because i woke up wayyy too early:
=================
took 2 months to complete (I slacked hard for a bit ).
it took longer for me to even try the ending than to actually work on the ending.
the storyline changed with each half scene.
one of the hardest parts for me was making koy blink, and changing the orangeyfat's leg to blue.
i am sustained by magical powers which have caked me from poop into the form of a human pass it on.
there are 1,485 frames of movement.
each frame averaged out to about 45 seconds a render until I got my new system at the end.
i used lightwave 5.5/photoshop/cakewalk
hope that is in the least interesting arrr matey.

worthy: thanks!! what's viewpoint?
kyri: i don't find the file very humorous myself either (then again I've stared at it for 2 months) but the people I have showed it to laughed continually at the same spots every time it was replayed. so nyah. ehehe

Synj:
Viewpoint is the leading 3d modeling house in the world that supplies individuals, as well as companies, 3d models in polys or Nurbs. http://www.viewpoint.com/about/portfolio.html
We have done most of the cars you see in commericals, Godzilla, Antz, Armageddon, ID4..and several games..blah blah..
Unfortunately for you, we dont use Lightwave much! Mostly Nichimen products, SoftImage Maya and Max..but theres a few Lightwave users

Absolutely awesome synj!
Like Joachim, though, *cough* Ike and the Egg 3 *cough* ?
Also, Worthy, does Viewpoint Digital = Viewpoint Data Labs with a new name?
Just wondering, because I seem to remember it by a different name. Anyway, great models as well.

neat. eheh i never saw the godzilla movie but somebody was talking about it alot before around me so you win!
yeah, ike and the egg 3 is inevitable. I have to continue the shows for my work. yucky ick they are the easiest to animate but the hardest to come up with a story for.

I thought it was very well done, very proffessional....but it wasn't very
funny. Don't know if that was what you were going for and the ending looked like you ran out of ideas, but was quite inventive. Nice effort. |

SYNJ, you know im a fan. That was awesome. I love the fast chase view toward the end, following the armed-candy-dispencer. Great stuff. Showed all my friends and they loved it. They watched it like 5 more times and spend the night on your page. We are all fans.
Fuck the acid tab, I strap the whole sheet to my forehead,
Waited till it absorbed in and fell to the floor dead.
No more said, case closed, end of discusion.
I'm blowing up like spontainious human combustion.
Leaving you the aftermath of holocausts and traumas.
Blowing up your house, killing you parents, and coming back to get your foster mamas.
And I'm good at keeping a promise like Nostradamus.

You probably think I'm a negative person,
Don't be so sure of it.
I don't promote violence,
I just encourage it.
I'm not making any more threats.
I'm doing drive-bys in tinted corvettes,
On Vietnam war vets.
I'm more or less sick in the head, probably more,
Cause I smoked crack today, yesterday, and the day before.
