Somebody please tell me what they are. I keep hearing about them on the net but I have never seen them in real life. It's a brand name right? Excuse my ignorance, but I know nothing. Are they pencils, textas?

prismacolors? They're Pencil Crayons. it's a brand name but they're best known for the Pencilcrayons I believe.

Prismacolor makes a variety of art supplies. I know them mostly for their professional grade colored pencils, but they also make markers and other things.

The colour pencils are good, haven't tried markers or etc! Try the thick (softtips) pencils or the verithin (hard/thin) pencils or whatever, probably the best quality crayon pencil things out!

Oooh! Oooh! Prismacolors! I love me some Prismacolors!

Markers : Get the double sided/triple tipped deals. About $5 a piece (where I live. ), but definitely worth it if you have intent to make some nice color comps or illustrations with them. The life of the marker is generally very nice. They don't sop the ink out.

Pencils : Me likey! Very very very soft lead. Blending is a breeze, and they retain their color for a good while, as long as you refrain the pic from 'blooming' it's wax.
