I know that this book is not sold in stores anymore (out of print), but what would be a fair price for a 1st ed of this book? I need to buy one and an antique store is selling it...

| did you try amazon ? i got mine there last year for school .. it was about 50 or 60 bucks .. its like requiard reading at my school .. shit i think they sell it in the book store.. |

you'll get several hits.. Prolly all second hand and not cheap. It's a MUST HAVE nonetheless!

If I'm buying why not spend an extra $20-30 and have a first edition... It'll be worth more later on for sure.

Thanks Danny for the URL! I love that site now  I have it bookmarked already!
Well... I'm buying the book from a pal for $100 US (it's a first edition, hardcover and in excellent condition). After looking at these prices on websites it's a REAL bargain!

Hey Jeff..
Wow.. that does sound like a good deal indeed. You are aware that there are special versions out there that are autographed by the authors (Ollie Johnston & Frank Thomas) and contain an original strip of film from Snowhite? Those editions however are VERY expensive, so you're probably better of with the deal you got now...
hope you enjoy the book as much as I do...
