This is one of the best sites I've ever seen in Flash. The guy just does it for fun.
He really knows good design and has a unique style that includes audio as well as visual.
Graphic Design is a wonderful thing if done well.

nice one spitfire :] you spoke my feelings nice and short
i know flash offers alot of potential for artists out there but give me a fucking break.
i think flash is a cheaters way to create a webpage. you can do everything you can do in flash, in dynamic-html/java/etc. flash is basically a fast way for an artist to create a site without learning how to program.
now i understand for some artists who are to busy to begin to type something into an html document, but most are using it for any form of animated picture. what ever happened to gifs? they are EXTREMELY easy to create/compile (load yer images and save em to the gif) and take up not alot of space at all. and i dont care what macromedia says, gifs load faster than animated flash images.
if im wrong or disagree banter on as you will :O |

well i understand where your coming from psi, but why is it always conciderd cheating if its "simple". personaly im not up to sitting down with a big book on html. id rather be learning other graphics progy's then coding. i know a lot of other people are like that too.
about the gif thing. sure they may load faster, but you cant do near as much with them. cant add sound (at least not that i know of) and can you do a big cartoon in a gif image? personaly i dont think you can. gif's also dont support many colours either. that would be a reason why there smaller than flash images, but anyway. thats my 2 cents |

you can choose the color palette based on compression from what i know, so you could increase the color limits....
so what if gifs dont have sound? you can easily add sound to your page using a quick sound code, one very small sentance
my thought was more directed to web-designers, not artists who create sites to showcase their work...they obviously dont want to wase their time. |

This is to argue the fact with psi burn:
Obviously you haven't even tried to make a flash site. Flash includes more programming for a good site than anything I have seen (except for a few good dhtml sites). Actually I think making a flash site is a lot harder to make than a normal page with coding (I have done a couple of sites that are made using heavy php coding).
Flash offers so much more than any gif. The file size for longer animations is one. Two would be the controling of the flash sites; you can rewind, fastfoward, stop, play, restart, etc. Flash is vector-based.
