Hye, I am a bit too new to this forum, so I didn't know what things happened about 2 monthes ago here, so, did any one ever dare to and ever criticize dhabih's works? at least I didn't see any over the past 2 months. Do you think all dhabih's posted arts on this site are perfect to you? or you just didn't want to get your profile deleted if you crit.? I don't mean to brush away your respect on Mr. dhabih, I am just curious. personally, I think every single one of the pixels from his pictures look better than all my works put togehter especially "Eclipse" and "Jack", phew.....
so, what do you think? |

btw, have you found out if dhabih had cheated some where on some pictures? (like using filters and garadien or whatever), well, not cheated, but I can't think of any more appropriate word from my head now. ( please don't tell me "filter doesn't matter it's just a style")
thank you and no cussing at me please! ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

I can't find anything too noticably wrong with any or Dhabih's work. And I think that if you looked a little more you could find someone giving Dhabih some good ol' cunstructive critisizm. I would critisize his work, but whenever I do that.. im always wrong. So i kinda gave up on it. But you know what.. when i look at it closely.. it looks like that fat ass from stone rose is sad because he is trying to find his penis in all that fat.. and just cant.. poor kid!
PS: Did anyone else find this a pointless thread? I'm just wondering. And im not trying to start a flame war either. (no offence to anyone)

Sure, if he asked for a critique I'd critique it. But since he hasn't asked for any (recently), I just look at it, enjoy it, and go about my merry way.

What is so wrong about gradients by the way?
You could consider using a computer cheating too since you can erase what you drew and can use as many layers as you want to.
Yeah and Sedone said the rest already.

Hey galaxer ... has anyone every critiqued your work? Why don't you post some of your work instead of starting inane threads like this one ... bring it on or keep lurching .
Thanks

It has always bothered me that in "Eclipse" her left eye is too far away from her nose compared to her right eye. Don't have much other critisicm as of now, most of his works are damn good

loki:
I have posted some work, but I didn't reveive much useful comments, well, if you want to see them, here:
this is my latest one:
and here are some old ones, not old, but considered old.
http://www.geocities.com/galaxal/FancyStyle/16.jpg
I need help on the raindrops on this one!!
==========================
http://www.geocities.com/galaxal/FancyStyle/14.jpg
ahmm, the word meant "fortune" in chinese, and had been criticized by some one saying the theme do not match the word...
========================
this one had never been criticized or praise, why? because I never post it here and ask for opinions, well, now do please
======================
that's it the ones I like, the rest on my site are poor (note: to me, they are fine, but to you guys, they are trash)

as far as i can remember there was no separate post for your picture galaxal, so i guess you could not expect too much feedback..
ANYWAY:
On the place where she should have eyes there is just skin and above there is a grey line.. Maybe this was intentional but you should give it some meaning if so. (makeup, tatoo,..)
The two legs have a somewhat strange position.. I am not sure which leg should be overlapping which in your picture. (I would guess the upper leg should overlap the lower one.
The feathers look very good and I like the composition too, its a nice piece.
General pose is cool too and fits the rest.

galax: the first one shows a lot of promise. good start - just keep at it. Be careful that the skin is not getting too pink.
You also might want to change the color of the background to a different color (maybe something blueish) and make it darker - it might compliment your angel that way ...
second image: I think you cheated there - because you were using a lot of gradients and filters for style reasons ...
thanks for posting your stuff ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

lol, loki:
the second one is totally cheated, I made it the first few weeks I started doing things with photoshop when I was trying out all the filters and other stuff, I think I used cloud, dithobox spherize and some other, I can't remember. well, good eyes you got.
btw, for the first one, I've received comments on the eye part, should I pop them out or leave them shaded? anyways, I will improved the shading even if I should leave them shaded. and thanx, loki |
