Hi,
I have not posted an image in here for quite sometime. (I did not want to interfere with the great drawing tutorials and education that are given in here
Now, that I see more images are being posted, I have decided to join-in and post one of mine... ( This image was created few weeks ago )
A Jar
Feedback is always appreciated
Thanks,
Pixelator

very cool! Starting at the top it resembles a normal candy dish, and then as you look down you start to wonder... Sort of resembles some sort of fantastical jar that would hold some important person's soul... but then you look up and there's candy there so you just get confused. Nice work though, especially the rotated faces with the metal line through them. The only comment I would have with it is that maybe next time you should try a good metal texture instead of just a bump map for the grey metal behind the faces. Nice texture work otherwise

Looks great - which program? I know it isn't LW. ^_^ Need to work on the surfacing a bit though, and maybe the connectedness of the objects. For instance, the heads just sort of disappear into the leather. There's no seam or anything. The metal needs to be more like metal-a better reflection map maybe(I can email you one to try if you want), and the fruit shouldn't be so shiny. Again, very nice, which program?
PS:The little heads are well made

Cool Jar!
I would not take candy from this one I guess..
The program is either not MAX me thinks.
Annoying Question:
?why do the heads not cast shadows on the grey surface?

Thank you all for your kind response
Virotype: As to the "grey metal behind the faces" which does not look metallic, I actually tried to make this look like leather as opposed to metal but I guess this did not go that well Thanks.
Anthony: You are right. I need to modify the back of the heads to taper properly as they meet the Jar surface. Good point, thanks
Kurisu: about the "I like the little green elf waving in the corner"... I do too, where is it?
Nex: You are right about the missing shadow. I did not notice that till you pointed it out. Thanks
Kurisu: You are correct. Thanks funny man
n8: Thanks
SewerRat: You are correct.
kurisu: This time you are wrong and you win nothing
Nex: I am sorry about the "pain in my head", as you can clearly see; I did not mention the z word.
Thank you all
So many smilies, So little time
