The gesture of the legs are fine, but may be a bit on the stiff side. YOu are going to need to show foreshortening on the leg coming out at us, for that you will need to study knees a bit, as this is the anatomy that will help you derive the perspective of the foreshortening, and the correct delineation as to which direction the leg is extending, or retracting. I will do a study sketch over this and post it for you later. I have to get back to work now...

Here is a bit of a redraw. I couldn't just redraw the legs, the whole thing needs a bit of work. For example, the shoulders are all but non existant in your drawing, he needs them badly. Another area that can be improved is the far arm and the way it tapers to a very little spot. And the centerline of the pose, the line down the middle of the figure is not connecting correctly to the lower portion of the torso. Always draw in the centerline of the pose first, as this will be your foundation forthe sweep of the gesture, making the figure look as though he is in motion.
Another tidbit, not all the muscles in the figure are going to be active, or flexed. Right now you have every muscle flexed in this guy, the law of muscles is that they work in opposition of one another. If the arm is extended, his tricep will be the most prominent muscle in action, the bicep is relatively flat,(passive, or inactive). By working with this philosophy, you should be able to get a more realistic gesture of the pose, without designing the "michelin man". The term we dubbed at our school for, too many rounded muscles stacked on top of one another. This is the biggest problem with most comic book illustrators, too many muscles all active at once to make a neato picture, but completely unbelieveable.
Back to your legs, in the drawing I did, I marked off overlapping lines all over the place. These overlapping lines are what gives the leg a visual understanding of it's pose, it's direction in space, etc. These lines are crucial in foreshortening, but are also necessary in standing poses too, just so you don't end up with too simplified a figure, i.e. cartoony...
If you have anymore questions about this, fire away...I won't be looking at the forum again till tomorrow morning, I have to go finish packing up my belongings to move, to where I have no clue...

Maz you are correct. I didn't even begin to mention this, as I didn't find it relavent tothis particular question. But you are right, this guy is a bit short. THe illusion of small is also present because the guy is squatting to a certain degree, but even with that in mind, he is a bit too small. But buffed comes in many sizes. He might be of another nationality that doesn't place him at 8 to 8.5 heads high, another reason I am not questioning the height...

Umm, im very interested in drawing human body. I have never took lessons of drawing, but i think a have a "good eye", but there are some things, like shoulders, and eyes in perspective that i have a lot of problems drawing them...Well, i have bought two books of anatomy, but id like to know if there are any webs with that contents.

Thanks for all.
