Good evening!
First my sincere apologies for the off-topic post, and I hope no one decides to attack me for it
My name is Vladislav Davidzon, I operate a web hosting firm, ThinkHost -- http://www.thinkhost.com. In order to establish a solid reputation and increase our userbase we have resorted to a rather unheard of method of marketing -- we give away fully free web hosting accounts to web designers and design firms. The accounts are equal to our Executive Plus accounts, and you can see more details of the offer at http://www.thinkhost.com, just click on the partners link.
There are no banners, buttons, whatever -- we ask that you place a link and refer clients, but only if you feel that we deserve it, which as you can see from the posts on the Topaz Designs forum, the forum at Sitepoint, people do feel we deserve it! Its up to you what you do in return, but we'd obviously appreciate having clients referred to us, and just having people spread the word about us. The only restriction on the free account is that you can't host clients in it, or personal sites -- it is only to be used for your business site. We have been known to allow personal sites on a case-by-case basis as well though!
We are a credible firm, you can read some more about us on the web hosting forum at sitepoint.com, among others. One of the TopazDesigns.Com Forum (where we are even considered the "favourite host" members has suggested that I post here about our offer, and so I figured I'd give it a shot.
"Here's another testimonial for Vladislav Davidzon, owner of ThinkHost. I must say that with everything being equal technically, ThinkHost will definitely impress you with their caring support. There are many web hosts to choose from, and hardware-wise, the more you pay the better the equipment being used. But there are some things that money can't buy ..... passion towards your clients' effort. ThinkHost and Vladislav will show genuine appreciation towards your website as much as you would appreciate your own website" posted one of our users at SitePoint. No, we didn't ask him to post or respond, he just did it all by himself because of the level of service that we provide!
If you are interested, please visit our site, and then e-mail us at [email protected] with your URL and if we approve you, you'll get an e-mail within a few minutes with a URL to sign up at!
Sincerely,
Vladislav Davidzon <[email protected]>

Actually we have dual DS-3 lines : - )
The connectivity is pretty darn good here, we've been blessed with some really great upstreams. |

Hey wow, you guys look really awesome. My mom is looking towards starting a floral business - with myself in charge of all the computer stuff. You guys are definately cheap enough to put her on the net and gain me experience. Thanks for posting.

Hrm, so far we've received very little interest... Is that because no one needs web hosting, or what?

companies want web sites, they buy a server, a domain and hook that up with a isp.
