I am now using OmniHTTPd and my cable connection for my personal web server. I don't know if everyone is able to see it. I know this "ONE" person who couldn't see it. But I need more ppl to check! Thanks in advance!

Neato scorpion pic. Your site loaded perfectly fine and quick for me. And I know what you mean about finals. That's why I'm awake right now, but at least I get three weeks off after this.

Loaded quickly, no problems there. OmniHTTPD is a great program. I used it for a while, till it inexplicably stopped working (it'd start up and tell me it couldn't start the server, never gave a reason.)
The only complaint I can think of is that it only works in IE. When you click on the scorpion pic it opens it in the main window... rather annoying since there's no back button... (there's always alt-left arrow key, but that means I have to put some effort into taking my hand off the mouse, finding those keys, and going back to the mouse... you understand.)

Thanks Sedone and Cyberartist for testing out my server.
And yeah... unfortunately my page doesn't work all that well with Netscape... the main body of the console is 'gone'. Doesn't load up for some reason. Oh well~ revise that in the summer.
I posted the scorpion pic in a hurry, so~
Forget to add the target.
Thanks for reminding me. I am changing it now. |

nice little interface. The text on the news part....the "-1" size may be too small for a serif font. Try a black san serif and make the links some other color so you can differ between links and text. That small serif wasjust so hard for me to read that i didnt even bother (sorry ) Think about putting a background color in with the main design...the white around the main box is pretty distracting.
Take out the Lmargin and topmargin = 0. it does look good in someareas, but i think if you centered your interface on that html page, and put the margins back in, it would plop that puppy nicely in the middle. The window size wont affect anything, there will be less blank space, cause the window size would remain the same.
for the window....errr you seem a little window happy. No offence or anything, it is a very handy script to use, but when every image opens in a new window the user can be very annoyed (i was kinda annoyed)
What i really like is the speed of it.. The transitions between pages was quick and easy.
I really like the interface. the metal texture. Accept i dont think the ripple effect should have been done to the metal. oh well. Good Work!

nice and fast, a little warning though, you're almost certainly violationg your service agreement with your cable provider, not that they'll actually do anything about it, but just though I should point that out. I run 3 domains off my connection right now, and so far no troubles with the man ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

OK. com'on guys. This would only take you 5 seconds to do! Please help me out here. Although my page doesn't work in Netscape, my page isn't all that terrible. There is even a in-progress scorpion drawing in there.
=\

Popup! %)@)#*$!!! It's always been a problem for me. My friends have complained about it before. Guess I should've listened.
Moose: I am not too sure what you mean... but there is a problem my page on Netscapes and white bg would show up. I'll try to improve that over the summer. Thanks for the input.
Dragon: Yes I just knew that from my friend yesterday. Oh well~ I'm jus gonna wait till they warn me. I heard Shaw@work allows users to run web servers off the connection. Thanks for reminder.
I guess it works fine now~ Thank you all!!! |

U're crazy for running a httpd on your cable box! Don't you know that that's illegal according to @home policy? A friend of mine got himself banned from cable company for doing exactly the same thing. If you wanna keep your access I suggest you rememve that server. @home ppl are anal.
Please also check out some of my stuff. There is a scorpion in progress picture too... that's if everything works correctly...
