I posted these in samdragons thread on part 2 of composition, but I felt they were too important to just paste in an already existing thread. take them and enjoy them. They are for all you to use as you will...
I opened Creative Illustration right to this page...I also found two other pages all within the same chapter on some of the things we have touched upon here...I maight start a new thread with these 3 images if no one shows up here for them...enjoy them...they are invaluable

Seriously man, u are rocking! Kudos also to Samdragon for your awesome help with the compositional stuff. I don't think people can really say thanks enough for it...its friggin awesome. |

Fred.. which of loomis books should i buy?
and are there any other books that i should get as well?
Im trying to learn stuff.. but there are no art stuff around here.. so I have to buy expensive books instead =/ |

Hey Fred, several years ago I got a bunch of these over-sized Walter Foster "How to draw and paint" books. Anyway, one of them was by Loomis. Are these just a portion of the books you mentioned? It's not very thick, but it's still good. If you guys can find it, the book is only five dollars and has about 30 pages worth of stuff.

yes sedone, those are the flimsy walter foster versions. Not much info in them compared to the big books, but they are still worth getting...I have more notes I found on composition, I will post them after 6 oclock... |
