Riles,
I don't have any drawings handy, but here's a speed painting I did. I've been doing these sketches after being told to by a couple of people (including Spooge). It's no masterpiece, but these things teach you allot very quickly.

This one took about fifteen minutes. I purposely impose a harsh time limit on myself, to force myself to capture the important values.

very nice style zayats.. why don't you post more?

HumanClay: Could you tell me what tool (settings) you used in photoshop to achieve this effect?

I would have said markers too if you would not have stated otherwise.

i'm sorry but i think is it absolutely useless.
I don't think is it a good way to measure talent.
Is it a good way to create orrible stuff.

so you missed the speed drawing thread eng started, nur? i'd suggest you take your words back

i think http://www.faustgfx.com/boredom_valokuvapraiska_flattened.jpg qualifies as "speed drawing" (or editing anyway) it's odd, i think i almost like this pic.

ZakatH,
My company's site is www.moserbrothers.com , but it's not up yet.
I'm a traditional animator by trade. I'm a beginning painter, more or less.
Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the compliment, Nex

To answer your "tools" question, these are simply pencil sketches, done on brown paper. That way I can also use a white pencil for highlights.

One of these days I'm gonna try to post some digital pieces.

Xdrive is kinda annoying by the way. When you "view" an image, it crops to some standard size and there aren't any slider bars indicating that there is more drawing outside of the borders.
Oh well.

I'm not used to doing 'speedy work' on my tablet yet, but I do quick pen/pencil paper doodles very often. This was done on a post-it note in about 5 minutes..

Rile$ - I like that image - it's sort of a staged paper cut-out scene... lonely and simple.
AliasMoze - You rock man. What Cos said... (wasabi Cos )
Tinusch - hehehehheehhehhehehe weeeeeeeeee...
pst - I don't even want to see the live reference! aahhhhhhhh! *runs*
FearMe - psychodelic, maaaan...
HumanClay - This is cool. It reminds me of one of those 40's or 50's box cover art pics.
zayats - Cool scanned sketches bro! My fav is 960673941FlmJ0x0IKY0XdyHFYGj6Tfo (I just call him tan dude myself - where did you get those names?! That's like R2D2 on sppppeeeeeeeedddd!!!!)
CapnPyro - Keep up the sketchin' then to yo' server we be fetchin'...
ozenzo - Speaking of R2... this should be cool - post this x-rated wing pic when you's be done!
StrangeFate - I like the simplicity of that little blank square with the little red 'x' in it
NUR - The real question is - what is "orrible" stuff? heheh just kidding!
faustgfx - you scare me, you mr. say-he-gonna-leave-and-no-go-and-now-he-back-like-everywhere!
Sedone - Very nice gesture and rendering! - and funny, too
Moose - And that bad boy was just taking a nap - and somebody had to go and shoot him. Hmph! What's this world coming to?!
Xcal - I like this - it reminds me of my anime days - post more post-it/napkin pics - those are my fav's!

Me - here's my contribution, though this was hardly fast - started out quick, but then I got dragged around like a kid in a stroller with a hole in the bottom. All told I think an hour and fifteen.
