i thought it was okay... i was expecting a twist at the end but not the one they had... i thought it was quite slow during the middle too.. just seemed to drag on and on... nice directing in it though... camera angles and such :P

Yea that's what my freinds said, about it being really slow in the middle. It didn't seem to bother me because I wasn't expecting an action/adventure film. I thought the directing and camera angles were great. anyone else see it? |

the movie was great; not every movie has to be constant action...
maybe you should take your fucking ritalin before you go to the movies. |

no seriously, it has potential... a whole lot of unrealized potential.. they could have finished the movie about 30 minutes before the actual ending.
and the "twist" is all it has going for it, and even that's poorly done...
it was the children you know... god, I did not fully like that movie..

I saw it yesterday with a few mates, there is quite an entertaining story of how we got rides there, ticket scalping, and getting my friend to stop talking in the theatre.
Perhaps I shall indulge another time but anyways, about the movie. It was well done, the plot twist especially added a kind of mystique or wonder that makes you question things in the movie, in a good way.
The movie is favorable to the extremes, my friend hated it, however I liked it. Ofcourse, he might have ADD(dumb american kids), or the comic geek in me really appreciated the reference.
btw, Elija's cane kicked ass.

i saw it yesterday, i loved it....thought it was really well made. I think its a great setup movie for a trilogy (which is what the rumor is its gonna be)
Its a really interesting idea ****SPOILER- DONT CONTINUE IF YOU DIDNT SEE THE MOVIE* to have a superhero within the confines of a realistic world.*****END-SPOILER******

I thought the idea was good... but that's where it ends. It could have been more developed. I think if they would have added more "hero saves the day" then just the one it would have been better. It did drag way too much. If some action kind of stuff was added in there it might have been better.

The comic "Savage Dragon" is kind of setup like that(Dealing with mutants in a real world society). Dhabih, and anyone else who is into comics, what are the titles you currently read?
I don't find anyting that appealing anymore except for the marvel knights line and some of the mangas, blade of the immortal.

well, i think it was a great setup movie.....bruce willis said that he is acting as that guy again and its supposed to be a trilogy or something....so i think there is room for more ...
if its a movie all on its own,..yeah..for sure should have been developed....but i knew going into it that it was only the first movie of more.
