Hi this is first piece ive posted here, its not really anything like i would usualy do, but i thought i'd post it as its the only near finished peice i have worth showing.
Im considering creating a small space craft zooming towards the bottom right corner, but i havent got round to that yet. Btw the planet isnt supposed to be earth, so dont moan if it doesnt look geographicly correct

ahh, there it is.. looks very nice!
I think you should reconsider adding a spacecraft though.. i think it would spoil your composition.

can I use this for my Enterprise background? My planet is a little shakey
Must be nice to have time to do this kinda stuff...very productive when your bored. |

Nnoo! dont ruin it with a lens flare
So far looks good, specially the bigger planet!
In my opinnion the smaller planet dont share the same sun with the bigger one.
How about adding somekind of small nebula or something to the middle/top right.
The setting you have here ofcourse lacks a loong "perspective" space ship coming from bottom right towards the little planet (or to a bit lower than that), OR vice versa, coming from that planet (you could do some nice engine lighting setup.. mmm)
or something
