OK, I ugess I should polish up on the design aspect of my site a tad. I decided not to use the desgn I was working on - the bug statue with the glowing lamp and all - and did this instead: http://affected.xs.mw/forums/newlayout/index2.html
No content yet, of course, I have to transfer my gallery to this design.. Fun.

Anyway, as usual, comments are welcome. I might change the background, it's perhaps a tad too dark.

As for the design,

Having orange and green, you can't really go wrong. I think maybe a background color of a dark brownish orange/yellow with black text may work better for the color of the content, however. (but hey, that's me..I'm sorta obsessed with orange in my designs.)

Your style is really represented in the top bar, pretty cool.

looks better than it did yesterday..

the space between the affected/buttons/whatever stuff and the sphere thang on the right still looks kind of disturbingly empty though.

and the scanline in the background is annoying.
