Its looking quite good but:
(1). try using a fatter black line on the right side and a more white on the other side. So it gets a little deeper down.
Make the lines(2) less sharp maybe blur it a little.
(3)and maybe you should be more careful with the darkening on the side where you grip the gun. it should look like its rounded right?
and I think you forgot something(4)

the gun looks good.. The bit where the shells pop out of the side should be wider and darker... the thumb looks like a yer floppy..er..bits. you should be looking at the side of the thumb not the top and as Slicer pointed out you need a hammer where he's marked "4?" but I dont think it's one of those gun your trying to draw here it looks a a glock in which it should be like the top bit moves back and forth like those things you find in the park which are like horses but without the arc in the movement. |

Hey Foz, just a small critique. The case ejector port (circled "1" by slicer) would be on the other side of the weapon - the spent cases always eject away from your body not across it. If you need photo references for weapons try http://www.securityarms.com/.
Looking at your pencil sketch, the gun looks a lot better. Both sketches would look better with the thumb higher up on the grip.

I think I might have been talking out of my arse then! The gun is the right way round - it's just that it being held in the left! Doh!
