Here's a new one I did'nt have a clue
what the picture were suppose to be at all when i started it.
It just turned into something, maybe they are
trying to invade a place? It took 15 min, so it's still in a very early stage.
I'm thinking of completing this one, so suggestions or critiques are warmely welcome

Not getting tired of it. I hang out at comic shops too much looking for stuff that's almost this good. More please!

*faints*

Micke: I can't reiterate this enough:

This style is simply amazing

Only thing that looks a bit odd to me is where his head ends and the collar of the suit starts, where his feet are, and the shape of his right hand (but like you said, this is a very early stage)

The use of shadows is just great in this. I think if you defined the setting a little more, it would add to the atmosphere.

Wonderful.

this way of painting is the old school painters did...the light first on a foundation, then thin layers of colour to symbolise the shapes and parts..

have the guy in front facing the other direction....

just a thought...

Micke, its fantastic. These black and white pictures of yours just have such a power about them. They're really cool. I think someone mentioned it previously, but I think it would be awesome if you created some sort of story with them...ala comics or something. They really would lend well to that sort of style.

Wow, yea yea yea...all I felt like saying has already been said...
however, here's my critiques:
1.It is a bit difficult to distinguish where the top of his head and the background meet (i.e. white on white)
2.Might wanna add a bit more background (I know it's the early stages). Maybe the top of some buildings and such.
3.Oh yea, and where his knee is, it is hard to distinguish between his knee and chest. When I first looked at it, I thought he had a pot-belly.
Hope I didn't ramble too much,
-Matt

I feel very positive about how you employ negative and positive space. Not being negative is best, I'm absolutely positive!

Micke,
This is very nice. What would be cool would be if you could string together a story with these kinds of drawing.

Arrgghhh Micke thats fkkin excellent mun! Very simple but very effective.

Cause u asked for some crit, ermmm, I do think the arms look too long, espescially the one on our left, the bicep area looks really long to where his elbow would start... but maybe he is not human.. or maybe it is too early and im just seeing things!?? I can tell better later =)

Hurricane that is one badarse piece you did yourself man. Very cool...

Fragamiter cool pic, I like the skulls in the smoke too, great idea.

Hey thanks all!
Stolln:
Things are a bit diffuse, i'm aware of that.
I'm gonna clean it up more and add colours to
it so hopefully it will become clearer
Golongria:As a start i do all the strongest things visible and leave eveything else out.
i'll add some sort of background, pretty diffuse with some smoke i think, i'll add it
when i'm colouring it.
Fragamite:Not at all. I'm not the first one doing this. Nice pic by the way.
Hurricane: Nice Gargoyle
Cos: Thanks for pointing it out.
i'm not quite sure i agree with you with the
legth of the arms. he's suppose to be some kind of mutant or alien But i can see it's quite diffuse what's happening by the elbow(our left). Gonna fix that. Thank's
worthless_meat_sack: That must be the coolest nick-name yet, he he
Fantastic picture! I really like it. Post more of your work.
Klaivu: Fantastic! That's really neat Reminds me a bit of an old pen drawing i did years ago:

I'll post some updates soon, after I've done my Cubes for Fred's class.
