Actually I have been lurking for way too long now but I finally got around posting some of my recent stuff.

fragamite: yes i made these with painter and you are right about the ear but lets just pretend it's a compositional requirement to have it there?

Very nice Janne! The first one initially struck me as something Made/Bomb (demoscene person) would do with a background... also looks very Saffron-ish. You know him? =)

1-the ear is too low and small
2-I thing you should add a pupil to the eye:-)
