Hahahahahaha, dude, I love that Gaming Gourmet one... That's ingenious... The PQ one is pretty cool too, but man, the first one is amazing... Hahahahaha.... Excuse me while I go watch it again. |

I have to give most of the credit to Fargo (Creative Director at GameSpy) who wrote both the PQ and Gaming Gourmet pieces.
And yes, my french sucks (only took two years in high school), but the chef speaks pseudo-french; a conglomeration of french-sounding words and gibberish.

Nice work. The gourmet is pretty funny. How did you get the cool shadow effect in the planet halflife promo? Did you use a transparent symbol and have Flash animate or did you animate the whole thing with screenshots? |

Chapel:
It was just a transparent symbol. Animating it with screenshots would have just wasted Kbytes.
When I do these kind of things, I try to pull off as much as I can with simple animations and let the brain fill in the spaces.
BTW, look soon for another collaboration with Gabe of Penny Arcade...

hahaha. man. thats pretty good man.
however, for some odd reason i had to go to netscape to open it. for some reason my ie5 (on mac) wouldnt load the page....as well as all the planet -sites. I have the latest plugins...i guess it was just being odd.
I found this site a while ago....
http://www.yugop.com
it has some really cool flash 4 based site. definitely worth checking out. too.
