Well here's a piece I did about a year ago, and I thought I'd toss it up here for y'all to take a looksee. It is traditionally inked (crowquil pen and ink) and then run through Painter.

The coloring is mainly to see how simply a 3 color piece (black, red and gold-flat tones)
would turn out for print. Enjoy.

Dude! That's freaking sweet.

I love that pose. Looks like the dude is really agile. I can imagine him jumping around all over the place like some kind of cyber-ninja with mad skills...

I'm a big fan of simple coloring, too. I find flat groups of colors easier to look at and more attractive to my eyes. Maybe it's cuz I'm a simpleton Nice work!!!

I'd love to see a larger version. I wouldn't mind having a printed version, either! How did the print version turn out?

It looks very good. With the simplistic color scheme, it looks like Japanese anime.

That's a kickass character ya got there, Salty. Very well done...though I think the tan and red could stand to be changed, but that's just me.

I just have to put up with 300-600 dpi prints on my HP inkjet

Ahh well, it gets the job done for the most part...
