I have used the oil pastels in Painter before, and i really liked them so i gave it a shot again. It was late, and i think that the hand under the chin is too small...

I like the pic! This is def. telling a story!
Great Job!
I like the toughts of people who want to die, they inspire me!
Did I ever mentioned I was hanging myself at a party at school once? (by accident, not in purpose)... |

Well people...
Don't think I'm crazy...
I saw a TV program once and there were people who tried to die but their suicide wasn't succesful...
Those people were interviewed and it was really amazing to hear what those people had to tell, it was very sad but very realistic!
They told their experiences and stuff, it was very interesting what all those different people had to tell...
Anyway, this is getting off-topic...
I think this will annoy Moose...

I think the gun tells too much. By leaving out a weapon the piece is open to a broader discussion around the character. I like it, but a little more suggestive power instead of literal could really add.

lange: read the book "survivor" by chuck palahniuk! very good.. it's by the man who wrote fight club, the book.. it's about the last member of an old religious death cult who all killed themselves. the basic premiss is that this guy is alone on a huge airplane with some hours of gas left.. so now he tells his life story into "the black box".. turns out a newspaper accidentaly printed his number in an ad for a "last chance" helpline ppl who wanted to commit suicide could call.. basically they get to hear "kill yourself, life is shit", when they expected to hear "don't do it!" and.. ehm I suck at writing resumes of books.. but it's still a really good and original book about suicide ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/wink.gif) |

thanks for the comments and concerns. it doesnt annoy me that people get off topic, hell i do it all the time, dont worry about it. I too enjoy images that have death in them, i feel people take more notice and and are affected by it more.
as for the gun making the piece too open for duscussion, that is sort of what i was going for. I was going to put some kids playing in the background to make it even more open, and sick. i think i am going to add that in there, just for another twist.
