My List:

1.God
2.God
3.God
4.God
5.God
6.God
7.God
8.God
9.God
10.God

God is my favorite artist, Earth is his pallete and life is his greatest masterpiece. He is the greatest artist because he creates what no Michael Angelo or Leonardo Divinci could ever paint, he creates life and love. He created us all and we are his work. He even created Craig Mullins, who some people sinfully refer to as 'God of Digital Art'. The Bible teaches that there is only one God. We are all God's paintings. He is the greatest artist, and we are his art.

I dont think we should judge people by their overall art skills, but by their styles...
My favorite would have to be
1.) Synj
2.) Kurisu
3.) Craig
4.) Dhabih (in some ways)
and those are the only ones that i can remember their styles from the top of my head... the first two especially, even though it may not be very realistic but they have the same funky style throughout most of their pictures which i love

Heh, J4L, I can never tell if you're serious or sarcastic... (mainly because of your post in the "Religion" Random Musings thread)

Artistically and with the use of colors I love saffrons work, the way the colors and brush strokes creates a mood and atmosphere. As far as a technically well none other then Craig Mullins, he is the technical king of this forum in my opinion.
In the originality department I love synj's work. And I enjoy looking at everyone's work as much as the next artist, but these are the ones that seem to stand out most for me.

whoa hey! That sure feels good. Thanks guys. I am glad you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. Although I feel it against my morals to post it, i will. In illustration, micke and joachim I view more as a team than competing artists, so I can't really pick one over the other. In creativity I'd have to pick kurisu who usually has something to post regarding the thread, or AmnesiA who I have yet to see regurgitate a mainstream thought. Technical work, who other than craig, right? Painterly department, you've got it saffron.
Those are the artists from this forum that have left a pretty big impression in my head. As for ranks, I really dont like doing that, so I'll just kinda leave it like that.

best regards,
-synj www.synj.net

Well, you could seek out their member profiles... (You can use the search function to find posts they've made)

A bit of a drag, of course.

Well *sigh* I guess its my turn now, I dont want to rank anybody either.

So ill just go and say, the artists that has inspired me most with this whole digital art thing from the beginning, would probably be Craig, Dhabih and Loki although atm it would be Micke .. And the artist that has made me laugh most times, Yep, its Synj

Definately Craig Mullins.

Ever since the 'Marathon' days, I've been following your work (from a distance). I'm real glad you're able to pass on some of your infinite knowledge on art and the digital realm to us here!

Great stuff!

I don't think ranking would be a good idea for a place like this - almost all the stuff that is shown here is interesting to see, even when the style or content is not really to my taste. But I'm honored that someone would include me, thanks a lot to humanclay and above and synj for the mention! (synj, your stuff rules but your server sucks! it must be too popular, I'd love to download the rest of your anims but I can't get a good connection )

Yep, like Joachim and dP already said, it's a surprisingly effective ego boost... "Do you like praise? It is my only weakness."
