Ok, now I know this is "your first pic like this"...ok......ok.......

But I remeber your first message on this MB here, you said you were "an extremely skilled artist". Don't say those things that you aren't, especially after seeing this picture...If you really are an extremely skilled artist you could def. better draw than this, even if you are working with PhotoShop (or something similar) for the first time...

I think you have some skills, but you aren't "extremely" skilled. Anyway, keep practicing and maybe you will be a God one day on this MB...Like I will *heh*

Keep posting your pics StormV...don't be "down" of this replies...ok?

Anthony, maybe learn the internet a bit more bud, the link is fine, the company running svgames.homepage.com adds a / at the end of it for some reason, remove it and the picture loads just fine.

enjoy

Oh, hehehe... I thought you were all talking about the SMOKE and not the clouds. Ya, the clouds were a cheap ol' filter that you all picked up on. Never doubted you would. It was just there to give the effect of the sky...

No better than the balls? Thats fine, just tell me WHY though so I can fix this up.

Thanks for everything,
-Adam

Cloud filter?! HAHAHAHA, thats funny... it took 35 minutes of class time to do that. I had it going to the left of the pic but it looked wrong. Don't know why... anyway, Lange, I stated earlier that my first post was a big f**k-up on my part and aplogized for it. Anyway, thanks to all of you for your comments... I am still working on the pic.

BOoha!

On the upside: the pose is pretty good if it were composed more effectively, and the basic anatomy seems fairly accurate if you disregard the shading and the coloring.

Compositionally, why did you choose to cut off the end of the gun, the left elbow, and the feet? Where's the guy's face? Why did you start painting before you had the drawing down right? What is he standing on, rocks or rubble? What is that black block behind his right arm? What is that red thing he's wearing around his neck?

There is no structure and no motivation in the drawing or the painting. It appears to be some sort of Duke Nukem type character and pose, but it's not telling much of a story and it isn't a very successful image on hardly any level.

I would recommed pulling the shot back and making more clear exactly what is going on. Is he in the rubble of a city or a fortress or a field? Get the drawing right first. At this point, the coloring isn't good enough to cover up any kind of weaknesses in the pic itself.

Hope this helps.

Cool! Thanks for the imput... anyway, the story of the pics is he (himself, no help...) just destroyed a city block for no aparent reason (he's a badass). The red thing is something like a scarf, the big block over his shoulder is a building, like the ones under his feet. He is standing on rubble and he is wearing a black mask with no eye holes for 'scariness'. I plan on redefying that more tonight though.

Thanks guys!
