I like that.. maybe leaves are looking too much like smoothy balls but good one! just finish the background and water |

Thats quite good Nightime. The detail of the leaves, grass, and distance are very well done. Tho the highlights of the lake towards the shore seem a little wierd.. Im not quite sure why. They seem to contour the tree a bit. Might just be me, heh.

beautiful!
Terrific detail.. parts of it look photorealistic.. the textures are great.
The water looks very lifelike too in my opinion.
The only thing I would change is the sharp edges on the tree and the figure sitting there. I would smooth them a little bit.

Very nice Nightime! Maybe the water should be a bit lighter and unsaturated as the sky is closer to the horizon? I'm probably wrong, but the water seems to fit a blue sky more than a bright ambiant grey sky.
Very nice pic -- colors are a bit low in saturation, but the detail and lighting is very very nice.
cheers.

Looks excellent and very realistic... BUT! (There's always a but.) Do you notice that the shoreline on the left of the character looks kind of like it's sticking straightup in the air? It's got kind of the wrong angle in relation to the lake...
An excellent piece though dude. (I may comment but that's a million times better than I could do so...)

I'm pretty shy about posting this, but here it goes.
It's my first landscape on a wacom, and right now I finished the foreground area. the lake is looking pretty vacant, but I want to keep an isolative feeling...feedback please ...

hey guys, thanks! wasn't expecting such a response.
Frost: i agree, the color of the lake should have a more whitish hue to fit the sky
IKhelix: the land the character is sitting on is actually elevated above the lake, so it's not really a shore line...the left side is a bush or shrub .. i'll have to detail it more so that is clearer.. :D
Appreciate it!

Very nice pic ! IMO atmosphearic persective should be added to the background giving more illusion of depth. I personaly would add a touch of green to the water not directly noticable , and make the water look like is is moving past the trees to the right forground rather than stopning short. It isn't strongly obvious in this pic but is is there . The foreground is tremndous excellent !!! Work Awsome awsome man keep the great art comming |
