Just wonderin how ppl go about w/ their wacom...When you produce a drawing is it really sketchy or is it closer to what it'd be on paper where you have nice clean lines?
I can't seem to get a clean image w/ my wacom. When I draw I like to go back over lines (which is prolly unecessay w/ a wacom) and that's makin my drawings look really sketchy...Do you guys just draw definite lines or do you just sketch and erase a lot to produce clean images (for example when drawing a character)?
Thanks

I used to do my sketching in Photoshop too but later on I noticed that sketching on paper was more natural after all, so now I just scan my sketches.
My favorite tool is the paintbrush (30%). I'm working on a portrait of Natalie Portman right now and so far I used nothing but the paintbrush. My coloring usually looks very rough at the start, but gets more refined as the image progesses. |

I like to scan a sketched image first, and then use Dhabih's technique of using the sketch on a separate layer (of Photoshop) set to "Multiply" and paint on a separate layer. I think that's the easiest, least labour intensive way to work up a picture on computer.
For vector work, I use the mouse.
