Yeah I know, the subject name makes no sense...aah well...

Here is my 2nd "digital art" pic. (1st-->Topic oooh busted)
And yet, this is not really compared to what other guys post here...I know...
Anyway, if you have something to say about the pic, let me know...

Note: the pose of that kid in the front and of that uhm...let's say, nazi dragon/dinosaur is from one of my old comic books. I didn't draw the pose "by heart"...

Note 2: Don't think I love nazi's...

If you want to see some pencil portraits I made (and older drawings) go to:

I think is great ..
I think you should try to think about more on how dynamic you want the pic to be .. when you are sketching it .. for example the, you could have drawn it from a worms eyeview .. and make the enviroment very dark like inside a house or cave or something . and like the dino looking down at some peoples .. i dont know something dynamic like ..
Also take your time coloring it in Photoshop .. start with flat colors then add shadows in layers very lightly until your satisfied with it ..
I am not trying to bring you down or anything . but i think you have some potential here .. just practice practice practice

Aaah! Finally!! A reply!
Thanks Zor, I really love you!! (just kiddin')...
-No "butt kissing" though...:-P

This is already the "100%" size, I didn't resized it. I drew it in this format. Sorry 'bout that.

And about the blurry thing, well, I'am not really experienced in chosing colors...(yet)
I still have to learn a lot......And I don't have some genius talent to do it "perfect" in one flash...
-Maybe does somebody know how to make the colors look brighter and giving them more impact? Let me know...

And what about my portraits? I would love to hear some opinions...

Anyway, thanks for the reply...
And to the other guys here on the board: please, let me know what you think, I also reply your art pics so do me a favour and reply my (simple) art too...

Oh, I see another one replied this...thanks Osk!

Lange_Pisang, try to draw in a much bigger resolution, and rather scale the image down later.

Resolution??????

Ok, the following question will be annoying to you (especially for the die hard members here) so I ask this very, very carefully...

I can't find the option to change the resolution (PS 5.0.5) but I've "discovered"
another thingy, the so called "print size resolution" at "Image Size". I quess this has the same affect as changing the resolution at...uhm...the option what is actually meant for that...

Am I right? If not, please tell me where I can find the resolution option, I searched and searched (also with "help") but I can't find it...
Please tell me were I can find it...pleeeeeeeeease.......The first person who replies this gets a free Heineken Beer and some very fresh pot...or some mushrooms if you like...

BTW, the pic I posted here is "print size resolution" number 150...

You are correct about that. You change the print res and the pixel rez in the same dialog, since they are somewhat linked. Try to paint about 2000 pixels across, this is big enough that you won't get into much trouble later on, unless you want to print it REALLY high quality and big.

Oh, boy, fresh mushrooms! Can't wait...
