Hi! Here's some of my stuff:
REWs Gallery!
And here's a cartoon I've made (badly translated from Norwegian)

-I first made the drawings for the cartoon, then gave it to my girlfriend who wrote the story. A strange way of working, wouldn't you say? Anyone into cartoons? It's my second. I got it published in a norwegian studentpaper called "A". It's only 500 prints, but it's in full color, so it's a start.

Thats neat, its not that easy to do frames all on a page and make it interesting and not just have the same angle in each frame. You seem to have got it down good though...

even though the subject is over my head

I like your cartoons, they're very bright in color and easy to read. Unlike some I've seen that are usually dark and cluttered and tiresome to read.

...got any more?

I like the sexually ambigous, half-naked nymphs. Nice tits!

Bird: Sometimes it's important that the present isn't inflicted by the past.
Boy: Even the very recent past?
Bird: Yes.
(Boy shoots the bird)
Boy: It's in the past now...

Seriously though these are some really nice comics. Still don't understand how a bird can be a personified reheatedcanofrations whatchamacallit...but I like it. Never knew the entire Narcissus story went like that.

Thanks!
The story of Narcissus actually ends with the flower growing up. The next parts -the nymphs and the equally self-centered Lake, is actually from a tale by Oscar Wilde -the king of Dandy. I read the story in Paolo Coelho's "The Alchymist".
The talking bird (a seagul) is just a way to personify the boy's inner voice. This may sound pretty deep -but what's the fun in a man talking with himself aloud? That's just odd -a talking bird however -now that's crazy!
The original was made in 600dpi -but was scaled down to 305dpi, since the print couldn't handle more. It was done in CMYK-colors and only 500 prints were made -it's just a small student paper -the price was $600!
Here are a couple more -but they're norwegian and in B/W and were done really fast. I'm not very pleased with these:
