I like this forum. Honest critiques. I honestly never do this. Ask Francis or Anticz. The Jimmy Images I just got back today. I did this in oil. It is 30" x 40". for a friend. It took a couple days around a work schedule to complete.
The trek page was a sample I did for wildstorm comics. I still can't figure out why I'm not doing a book with them. Any input Francis?
And the tatooine image was my first wacom attempt about a year ago. It took about a couple hours. It was just to get used to the pen. Tricky, but very effective...more to come...thanks for all the input...

Something is not happening. Goto the geocities address to get the images. For some reason they aren,t, oh wait I just figured out why. Be back in a sec...I guess I am not doing something right. None of these images are appearing anywhere...hmmm

The site is www.geocities.com/lemenayd/index.html

retarded web site address, and again, I apologize for the technical difficulties...

scroll down the page to page 2

Your addresses had goecities instead of geocities in the URLs

I took the liberty of turning it around. hope that's ok

Thank you Muzman. Dislexia is setting in...I just posted some new images to page 1 on that geocities site. I am just now getting around to scanning my stuff. I have hundreds of things to scan. That is why the web site is going so slowly...enjoy...

Joachim: Exactly how I feel. =)

I think it's great to see such people coming in here and showing us great stuff and techniques... although much of it are real paints. I have lots to learn...

The reason you aren't doing a Star Trek comic for Wildstorm is that there's no words on the page! How the hell are we supposed to know what's going on?

Actually, I have no idea. Even if I didn't know you, I'd still say this is the best Star Trek material I've ever seen in comic form.

Politics I guess.

An artist is never truly appreciated in his time!!! Wildstorm will be pissing in there pants when they find out you got some job at a "better" publishing company... Or you could make your own company, which would be better.

Thank you for the replies. I am trying not to be showcasee. When I did this post, I had just received photos of the jimi painting, and got way too excited and post it with the other images.

On another note, I will be posting a head drawing tutorial by the end of the week, and it will permanently reside on Anticz.com website, and then again way later on my site whence it is finished. I plan on packing that site with tutorials and images galore...not just mine, but other great inspirations that people just need to see again and remember not to tunnel vision their thinking i.e. forgetting that other artists are great inspiration when we are unsure of what to do next, and other reasons, but I have been looking at them for inspiration lately.

If you're doing a head tutorial, does that mean you're a skull teacher?
