Hey dines..

Thats a neat Sketch..

However if I had to critique about it, then the only thing wrong imo is that the eyes are not parralell with the nose/mouth

Here's a pic I drew last year, when I was 15...It's that WWII hero Eisenhower...
One guy on this board has already seen the pic (wink) (wink)

I like that sketch Dines!
It has this cool 'rugged' feel to it. The eyes, lips, nose and face outline all have this cool feeling to it. I like the directional shading too, adds to the rugged feel.

Lange, would that person be me? Cool pic, nice use of light shades.

This might turn into another pencil sketch thread.....

YES !!!!
Every artist, 3d modeler, animator should own How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way

except if you are over 15
No, but book helped me lot in my youth and is one reason why I do 3d modeling.
I got my copy in early 80's and they still sell it.
WONDERFUL !

There are tons of better art tutorial books but I still would start with this one.

ElectroTechno, How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way is an excellent book. I still go to it for help even though I've had it for 10 years, and even though the comics aspect of it may not appeal to everyone, the information inside can be a great aid to everyone.
