yah cool work!
I like it more if she had a whiter face.
so her make-up shows more (eyes, lips, eye brows)
to put image use "[img}" and "[/img]"

o yah ideas, i was thinking maybe make her holding a samurai sword behind her back, like comings from a horizontal angle from the left or right, and a some kind of slain opponent at her feet. I think that would fit with the expression on her face, and the way she is looking down. |

awwww no...
The samurai sword thingy is already done very much times...(hmm crappy English)
Do something different...
A dead younger (male) child at her feet with some toys in his hands, all bloody...
The girl is holding a gun in her hands but she holds it not very tight, it should be look like if she want to drop the gun...
Yeah... |

Actually,
the dead younger child is her little brother. She has killed him because she's totally brainwashed by that "evil" night club "EN24". She was given some "evil" 'n "macabre" thoughts. Yeah!
Hmm...I think we need to go to our shrinks... |

Don't change a bit. It's cool and mysterious
enough the way it is. Adding weapons or bodies
or pirates or zombies or chickens in there
would just screw it up. |

It's lovely as it is, definitely keep those samurai swords and raped babies and other superficial action nonsense out of it. Yum, I really like the look of the wall on her sides... and the clown poster! Her shirt seems a bit too uniformly bright for this environment though, it jumps out of the image, maybe you could experiment with making it darker and more shaded.

That's an excellent pic Dfuse, I really think
it evokes a strong dark kinda mood and the detailing on the girl is awsome. |

I think it's better this bright, as in contrast
with the background. Darkening the shirt
could make it bland and un..uh..catchy..
ah whatever..anyone remembers the rubber
chicken from Monkey Island? |

beautiful image. The shirt is a little too bright. Tone it down a bit. Lean into the yellow spectrum, ochre that is, or lean in the direction of the cream color on the back wall, but warmer too contrast the wall a bit. Refer to Phil Hale or Rick Berry for inspiration. This image is leaning in that dierction.
Also, some ground below her feet would help. Anything to just ever so slightly separate her from the ground. The resolve on the feet area is remenicent(sp) of what comic book artists tell you to do when you can't resolve feet issues, when in doubt, black them out. This is really a sloppy approach to problem solving, which can later lead to bad habits reused repeatedly. Find everything first, then loose it in the painting. That lower area just becomes a big black void without some description of something down in their. Either some highlights in the garb, or some lighter values in the dirt to frame the figure against it. And remember, very subtle. You don't want to overdo it. Good job otherwise.
And I'm not sure if the bullet holes are necessary. With them, they might end up telling a different story. And right now everything seems so eerily serene. And yes, the sword thingy is far too played out.
And one thing for the composition next time, don't point the arrow away from the subject of the picture. Aim it toward her. All background elements in an image should help support the subject and not detract from it, and normally all backgound elements should point to or frame the subject of the image in some way or another. |

It is beautiful. The only thing I would suggest doing is bringing out the creases in her white shirt a little more.
I like the minimalist approach and would advise not to add anything.
The way you have it now makes us wonder what her story is, what is she doing? Is she waiting for someone? Where has she just been? If you were to add knives, guns etc, it would take away the mystery and subtract large amounts of beauty. |
