As you know, due to the downtime in 3D Palette Some of the images that were submitted to the contest are not yet shown.
I would be interested in seeing ALL submitted images!. If you have submitted an image, which is not currently shown, please feel free to post it in this thread.

Here is my entry

Now, now Shizo...

*waves finger back and forth*

"If we don't have anything nice to say..."

I think it's a great program. I can't help it if your bum downloaded it, didn't use it, and then deleted it to get more HD space!!!!

...and what does ZBrush take - 6 Mb's or something?! Come on comrade! Join the party!

"It's Z dead man's party... who could ask for more..."

Come on comrade - "leave your body at the door..."

Evvvrybooody!

I feel the same way today about zbrush as I did a few years ago about photoshop, where photoshop was the new program in true-color that did automatic antialising, and all that, while I was a true-to-the-bone pixel artist doing EVERYTHING by hand. And look what I'm doing today... I can't live without photoshop ... so I'm not going to say anything bad about zbrush, although a part of me just thinks it's becoming just too easy to draw... zbrush gives you the ability to draw with knowing very little about lighting and how shadows are projected, etc... it's a program that lets you be creative without worrying about the technical aspects of painting... sure it deserves merit just for that... but I don't think I'll jump on it just yet, although I admit I have downloaded it and have played with it for 20 minutes or so... who knows what I'll be doing a year or two from now... =)

Thanks kos.mandis . This is weird They DO look alike!.(By coincidence only! )

According to Immi there should be about 60 unseen entries. I wonder how many are from this forum?
Immi: Any idea when the rest of the entries will be shown?

Shizo: I would prefer to keep this thread for posting contest-related images and comments, therefore I would simply say that those who resist change and do not adapt, are doomed to be left behind. Now... Can we go on with the show?
Alan: Is there a larger version that we can see?
Kos.mandis: Outcast? Got a picture or a URL?

I am one of the unlucky artist who was not placed on the GFXArtist.net page, but proudly wishes to display his effort...

There is a thumbnail link below that should take you to the bigger (i.e. full size) submission, in case you're interested...

Email me if you have any comments

Genes: cool image, the background reminds me somewhat of the start of Resident Evil 2.
the wall on the right has amazing detail, was it 3d rendered? or are my eyes playing tricks?

Hello again with a follow-up to my thumbnail post... the pic is/was done, I just didn't think anyone would want to see the whole thing.
Frost: Hope you're not too disappointed Your pic was sooo cool, dude!
http://www.saber.net/~aln/pestcontrol.jpg

And a general comment about the contest pics I've seen... I'm impressed with the different styles and high quality and would like to see all the entries to get a complete picture of just how varied the ideas were.

haha! After realizing that final exams would make painting an ornate background impossible (I only got B- on my two finals ) I decided to render the background. Except for the deadguys, that I painted in half an hour before sending the image, when I realized that I forgot to include them. oops.

I also made a quicktime movie of the drawing in progress. You can see it here.

(PS. I too would like to see all the entries in one place. Immi, if you are reading, load all the images somewhere!!)
