Can you do a cylindrical transform in this program? Damn deluxe paint 2 could do it... Also how do you do sparkle stars (Manually or using a filter? I've got glow&sparkle but it's kinda crap)--like the red sparkles on dhab's "magician" image...
Thanx! |

uhm, just add a new layer set to color dodge & use a soft brush, and do those sparks manually.

not sure what you mean kos
if you're using 5.0 and up try
filter->distort->spherize...
and then set it to "horizontal only"
or perhaps
filter->render->3d transform
and play around with that

Hmm, I don't get what u mean Kos. Guessing now, probably select the area you want with the circle marquee, then do a free transform on that. With the sparkle stars, you get them sparkle brushes with ps, just load em up. Or you make your own sparkle brushes by selcecting and defining some. Hope that helped =) |

Thanx guys... Well, what I meant by cylindrical transform is for example if you could move the central axis in a free transform, the selection would take a tube-like shape giving it some dept... Muzman's tips seem to be the only close thing to what little photoshop can do , what a dissappointement...
Oh well I'll live  |
