Compression sucks! A B&W like that MIGHT have been better served in 256 greyscale .GIF...
That was of course a joke...unless it works.
Francis is the best! From the moment I saw some of his GT work on a friends page and a link to the GT page, hooked.
BTW: Francis, you most likely don't recal, but my friend Bryan's page. It was on xoom and he is trying to gather the money to make his page a ".COM" thing and write columns and what have you. ^_^
*Waits and sees if Tsai's brain explodes or if his laid back tude wins out.*

tatsu: you're right, 256 greyscale gif would have been better. Both have 8-bit channel depth and therefore have the same precision -- It would also compress without artefacts (unless you use a gif optimizer). |

Uh Francis, when do you have time to do these peices? This is great. The cast shadows do help though. Uh, hit me up at work for some tips on this stuff. This is stuff I cover in class, I even have hand outs...
Got any more of these hidden gems lying around at work?
Enough variation in styles to go around. Great inspiration, I envy your drive. Keep up the good work... |
